A diesel 6×6 Lambo? Why not?
Now that we have seen Lamborghini’s super Sport Utility Vehicle we can all agree nothing is considered a heresy anymore when it comes to Sant’Agata Bolognese’s bulls.
Enter the Ratón, a 6×6 Lamborghini named after Spain’s most feared beast. Despite its apparently inoffensive name (Ratón is the Spanish for Mouse), this fighting bull killed three toreadors and injured thirty others. Calling a scared animal (as all the fighting bulls are) ferocious is a bit of a stretch, but the fact that it was a strong animal is irrefutable.
Back to our mechanized conqueror, Lamborghini Ratón uses a “turbo-diesel-electric” hybrid powertrain good for more than 1,000 hp, boasting “exceptional all-terrain capabilities.” And this is all we know about Emre Husmen’s render.
It looks like a concept highly unlikely to come out of Sant’Agata’s plant, but again, wasn’t the Urus a thing you just couldn’t see bearing the Lamborghini badge? So we’d better keep our minds open when it comes to Lambo from now on.
If you’re wondering how come someone thought about rendering a Lamborghini alternative for the Mercedes-AMG G63 6×6, the Hennessey VelociRaptor 6×6, or the newer Kahn Design Flying Huntsman, here’s the author's comprehensive response: “Why not?”
Exactly.
Want to see a more down-to-earth rendering? Take a look at this Urus imagined as a three-door-coupé-super-sport-utility-vehicle or whatever this is. In all honesty, it looks better than the original; we really hope to see this happening.
