Land Rover rewards 2018 Range Rover Evoque with Landmark Edition

Special edition model celebrates 6 years and more than 600,000 UK-built units

One cannot overestimate the importance of the Range Rover Evoque within the Jaguar Land Rover group.

The latest special version, called Landmark Edition, serves as a reminder of the huge success the Evoque brought JLR. More than 600,000 examples of the compact luxury SUV have been built at the Halewood plant in the UK in six years, with 80-percent of production exported to 130 markets around the world.

So what's so special about the Evoque Landmark Edition, then? Well, it comes with a dynamic body kit, gray exterior design details, and a choice of three attractive body colors: Moraine Blue (inspired by the turquoise lakes of the Canadian Rocky Mountains), Yulong White and Corris Grey.

The grey-painted elements include the Carpathian Grey contrast panoramic roof, Graphite Atlas grille, bonnet, fender vent and tailgate lettering, as well as 19-inch Gloss Dark Grey alloy wheels.

Dark gray accents continue inside, where the brushed satin trim on the center console combines with grained Ebony leather seats with contrasting Light Lunar stitching and a perforated mid-section.

The Evoque Landmark will make its global debut on May 10 at the Royal Windsor Horse Show, when orders will open. UK pricing starts from £39,000 (about $50,550 in U.S. currency).
