Let’s celebrate colors and drifting with Chris Forsberg and his Nissan 370z

We meant the spring in your heart

Looking at what Ken Block did over the years through those Gymkhana videos, it’s hard to think there is something better than that. But let’s take Chris Forsberg’s latest stunt as a study case.

The video is called Proximity, and it involves a scrapyard, a drift-specced Nissan 370z, and a Hindu-inspired celebration. Oh, and the professional drifter Chris Forsberg who manages to keep all the above-mentioned elements in order, making sure the 370z won’t be another scrapyard element, for example.

We aren’t fans of the super edited stunt videos, for obvious reasons: it might just undermine the protagonist’s effort by bombarding the viewer with too many different frames. Although it doesn’t show the car drifting continuously for more than two seconds this clip has just the right visual mix.

The red and blue powder recipients exploding here are inspired by the Hindu spring festival called Holi. The whole story and a bunch of on-set images are covered by this Speedhunters article. But now, enjoy!
