LEVELLA VW Arteon is a hate it or love it proposition

Levella Arteon 01

You’ll hate to love it or love to hate it, there’s no middleground

Volkswagen's Arteon is one of the coolest-looking fastbacks out there, and if you wondered how would it looked lowered and with huge wheels, well, wonder no more

The Germans at Levella thought the Volkswagen Arteon wasn't low enough, so they used an H&Air by Dumped suspension to put the Arteon closer to the ground, and some huge Levella forged wheels to completely alter the fastback's looks. Now, be a judge: hate it or love it?

The Arteon showed some impressive sales in Europe and finally made its debut in the US at the Chicago Motor Show. Powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that churns out 268 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, the stock Arteon is based on the group's MQB platform and comes standard with an adaptive suspension. Expect to see it in showrooms in the third quarter, though, as VW still drags its feet on the US market.

We can also expect a +400-hp Arteon, but don't hold your breath: you'll most likely see it in the US too late for its own good.
