Listen to Walter Röhrl talk about life challenges and rally driving

You'll be more grateful after watching this video

By definition, a true champion's life is nothing but an obstacle course that received with the right attitude, made the runner stronger.

Walter Röhrl is a true champion. Officially, his resumé says it all, as the German secured victories under the colors of Fiat, Opel, Audi, Lancia, BMW, Ford and Porsche.

His parents separated when he was ten. His brother died in a car accident two years before he started a brilliant career. But Walter Röhrl reacted by, as himself admits, being perfectly prepared.

This attitude paid off in an era when motorsport was less safe, less professional but more deadly for the daring drivers.

Choosing clean driving instead of the spectacular of showing off, he beat the Scandinavians, who where rally kings at that time.

That's also how he managed to race the Arganil stage in Rally de Portugal cutting through thick fog. And this is the moment we let the video below do the talking.
