Lamborghini Urus? What Lamborghini Urus?

In a bizarre twist, the ever-growing SUV segment tries to impress its buyers through performance stats as well. Once comfortable and spacious, the SUVs of today are fighting for the quickest lap time on the Nürburgring or the highest top speed. A race that Lister projects past the 200 mph (322 km/h) mark.

With the 176-mph (283 km/h) F-Pace SVR as the starting point, Lister worked on that 550-hp 5.0-liter supercharged engine and bumped its power output to around 670 hp. We don’t know how much torque will be added over the stock figures of 680 Nm (502 lb-ft) but we can look into Lister’s backyard for hints: the 666-hp Lister LFT-666 boasts a whopping 976 Nm (720 lb-ft).

We also have more than some teasing details now: the Lister LFP is shown in all its grace, prompting a black outfit with yellow accents. We like the way the stock F-Pace looks, and we definitely love this approach.

There are no words on pricing either, although we know the production run will be limited to only 250 units. Now we’re eager to see it at work.

And in case you were wondering, the fastest SUV you can buy today is the 650-hp Lamborghini Urus. Sant'Agata Bolognese's most recent creation will keep on accelerating until the 305 km/h (189.5 mph) speed is reached. But competition is always welcome.
