And no, police hadn’t stopped traffic – cars were still driving when it happened
Fire raging at the base of an electricity tower in Muntilupa city, in the Philippines resulted in it collapsing over the nearby motorway. Traffic hadn’t been stopped, and cars were just flowing by – had it not been for the strong wires to hold the structure in place, it would have hit the busy road causing untold injuries and damages.
This is worth watching because of the unusual perspective offered by a drone operator on the scene at the time of the fire. The drone manages to capture the exact moment the tower begins to tilt and ultimately falls onto its side.
It all unfolded yesterday, April 19, and thankfully it ended well for everybody, as no victims were reported among firefighters or civilians.
