Any car that can pull a sub-eight second time in the quarter mile qualifies as being insanely fast, and this seven-second Cadillac CTSV certainly warrants that description. In fact, it’s the fastest CTSV in the world, even if it’s not fully dialed in yet.
Its makers are expecting it to drop under the seven-second mark once all of its kinks have been worked out.
Looking at the car, you can see just how much it was modified. Exhausts have been rerouted to puncture the hood, it has massive drag tires that fill the arches to the brim, but the most obvious and interesting mod has to do with the placement of the turbocharger.
It’s located where you expect to see the badge on some cars, being proudly displayed in the middle of the grille. A cool idea, just don’t get anything valuable stuck in there…
