Matte Mercedes-AMG S63 S Coupé Is the Best Example of No Way Jose

There’s a very slim line between destroying and improving a car

Hannover's tuner Fostla beefs up and occasionally ruins German heavy hitters like the BMW M6 and Audi R8. But their latest victim is the flawless-as-it-is Mercedes-AMG S63 S Coupé.

There's not much to say about the coupé's exterior as the photo gallery speaks for itself.

Also, we thought matte wraps are 2000 and late, Fostla spanked the Merc-AMG with a blue chrome-ish foil that complements the tinted taillights and the 22-inch Prior Design rims.

They even got their nose under the hood, making the V8 biturbo engine spit out 730 hp and 1,200 Nm (885 lb-ft) of torque. Impressive on paper, but not necessarily required in real life.

Yours faithfully thinks such Frankensteins are the perfect examples of how a carmaker's work can be undone with just a pair of rims and a new body color.

What's your take on the matter?
