The modification package includes a wide body kit
Let’s say you have a “mere” pre-facelift Audi S7 and you want to update a bit. German tuner M&D Exclusive Cardesign comes in to help, offering the MD 700 tuning package.
As the name suggests, the 414 hp (420 PS) 4.0-liter V8 unit found in the stock S7 is subject to a massive upgrade. After changing some mechanical bits with better ones – the air intake, turbocharger, exhaust, catalytic converter, and ECU are on the short list – the V8 is able to deliver no less than 700 PS (690 hp) and 950 Nm (700 lb-ft).
Unfortunately, it doesn’t say how this new power output alters the performance numbers, but go figure: the 596 hp (605 PS) RS7 launches from a standstill to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.7 seconds while being some 100 hp and 184 lb-ft (250 Nm) less powerful than the MD 700.
The power upgrade also comes with an array of visual changes: the body is widened, the car is slightly stanced, and the pearlescent paint is covered with a foil design Audi is using in the racing world.
There aren’t any words on pricing, but such a huge power upgrade definitely isn’t cheap, not to mention you’ll have to sacrifice an S7.
