Mercedes probably won’t build an AMG version of the X-Class, so here’s one

Take a good look at it as the chances of seeing one in real life are slim

Over the past few days, we've seen the new X-Class pickup, a rendered SUV version of it and the first video showcasing Stuttgart's segment setter.

Ever since the X-Class broke cover, rumors about a pumped-up AMG version flooded the internet.

Of course, the wave of enthusiasm is rather unfounded at this point in the model's lifetime, but there's no reason why pixel manipulators like X-Tomi Design can't make one dream.

On that note, we give you a potential Mercedes-AMG X 63 fitted with Affalterbach's typical visual enhancing bits and bobs, which include larger wheels, sportier bumpers and grille and lower stance.

Theoretically, the highly unlikely Merc-AMG X 63 would feature the brand's 4.0-liter biturbo V8 packing north of 600 hp.

But again, who needs a beefed up posh pickup truck that would cost an arm and a leg when you can get the high-testosterone F-250 MegaRaptor or the V6-powered Hennessey Velociraptor for less money?
