Mulgari F56 SV is a tailor-made 280-hp MINI Cooper S

UK tuning company takes care of buying the donor car and delivers it with all the desired upgrades

You can now order bespoke versions of brand new models straight from UK-based tuning company Mulgari Automotive via its newly-launched Signature Vehicle program.

The first bespoke production car is called Mulgari F56 SV, and it's a highly-customized MINI Cooper S.

What you'll first notice on the F56 SV is the more aggressive look given by the lower splitter attached to the front bumper, new 18-inch lightweight alloy wheels, and custom exhaust tips. In addition, all exterior chrome trim is replaced with one of six color accents that enliven the grille, mirrors, brake calipers, and belt line.

The personalization continues inside with seats, steering wheel and doors that can be re-trimmed in the customer's choice of material and color, including contrast stitching.

Mulgari's F56 SV is far from being all show and no go: it features a bespoke engine management program, refined exhaust system, and additional cooling that contribute to a 23-percent increase in performance. The 2.0-liter turbocharged engine's output is boosted to 280 hp, while torque grows to 290 lb-ft (393 Nm) — more than MINI's own JCW.

No acceleration figures are available, but Mulgari also fits the car with an entirely new suspension setup for improved handling. As a side effect, the F56 SV has a 30-mm lower ground clearance.

The Mulgari F56 SV is available to order now, with on-the-road prices starting from £35,980.
