New DS Performance Line Adds French Chic to Entire Lineup

Two-tone paints, black wheels, and upgraded interiors for DS 3, DS 4, and DS 5

DS Automobiles launched a new sporty trim level across the brand's entire European lineup called DS Performance Line.

The name is a clear hint to the luxury brand's motorsport division, which is currently involved in the FIA Formula E Championship, as well as to the company's performance division.

Available for the DS 3, DS 3 Cabrio, DS 4, and DS 5, the DS Performance Line features a series of exterior tweaks. Highlights include a two-tone paint scheme combining black with various colors, as well as gloss black wheels featuring the DS logo set against a Carmine Red background in the center.

DS Performance's signature colors (Carmine Red, White, and Gold) are present on the door mirrors, rear spoiler, and bonnet, while DS Performance Line badges adorn the front doors.

Inside, Performance Line models get a new upholsteries including black Dinamica cloth, grained leather or Nappa leather. Furthermore, the seats, door panels, gear lever gaiter, and steering wheel feature stitching in the colors of DS Performance. The front seats are also embroidered with a "DS Performance Line" emblem. Chrome inserts on the steering wheel and door sills, as well as LED lighting round out the interior changes.

As for the equipment, the Performance Line also brings a 7-inch touchscreen, Satellite Navigation, Mirror Screen (MirrorLink and Apple CarPlay), and DS connected services via the DS Connect Box.

The new trim level is available with all engines offered on regular DS models and will go on sale starting this month across Europe.
