It doesn’t look too aggressive either because that’s the job of the upcoming Astra OPC/VXR
While Opel and Vauxhall fans are fantasizing about the forthcoming Astra OPC/VXR, the automaker is giving them something to sweeten the wait.
The newly-introduced optional OPC Line Sport Pack for the five-door hatchback version of the new Astra may sound good, but in reality, it only brings discreet styling upgrades and no performance tweaks.
The package is an exterior kit that sharpens up the looks of the Opel Astra thanks to a new front apron in OPC Line style, prominent cutouts in place of the fog lamps, and horizontal lamella inserts in the lower part of the bumper. Moving on to the profile, the Astra OPC Line Sport Pack adds bolder side sills and gloss black alloy wheels.
At the rear, the styling kit adds a sportier apron and vertical lower taillights for a more muscular appearance. Finally, the updates also include smoked headlights and taillights.
The front apron, side sills and rear apron lip of the OPC Line Sport Pack are color-coded, with customers able to choose from six metallic paints (Sovereign Silver, Mineral Black, Deep Sky Blue, Dark Caramel, Cosmic Grey, Emerald Green) and two brilliant lacquers (Summit White, Absolute Red).
The OPC Line Sport Pack is available for the five-door Astra in Active, Dynamic, and Innovation trim levels for a price of €1,150 (approximately $1,300) in Germany.
