New Peugeot 208 gets rally clothing, we absolutely love it
This looks a lot like the WRC-bound 208 of our dreams
Someone took the time to render the new Peugeot 208 wearing full-tilt rally gear and they did an awesome job.
That someone is Behance user Lukasz Myszynski, who put his pixel manipulation skills to good use. The result is a digital rendering of the new Peugeot 208 with a rally twist. A hefty rally twist.
By having a look at the attached images you’ll see that the said 208 was granted with all the stuff you’d expect to see on a rally car - hardcore bumpers as part of a wide body kit, extra air scoops and a rear wing attached to the roof. Heck, even the wheel design choice has rally written all over it.
Coming back to the real-life Peugeot 208, you should know it will feature an all-electric variant dubbed e-208. It will rely on a 100 kW electric motor that also makes 250 Nm of twist connected to a 50 kWh battery pack.
Maximum range on a single charge is estimated at 340 km (WLTP), while drivers can tailor their driving style using the three available modes - Eco, Normal, and Sport.
