Surely a better wheel choice was available
Some years ago, Elon Musk advised Tesla Model S owners against tuning their cars, saying the EV is a fine-tuned piece of machinery and any alterations could lead to various faults.
Novitec, however, knows better, so the sedan got a handful of aftermarket features aimed at enhancing its elegance, says the tuner.
But we have an objection: the way-too-conspicuous 21-inch Vossen wheels are way out of context here. Otherwise, the aero treatment is both subtle and tasteful, not to mention efficient when it comes to the Model S’ in-driving dynamics.
Other than that, Novitec says Model S cars without the air suspension can get a coilover setup, while those sitting on air suspension can be upgraded with a module that allows a 25-mm height adjustment.
Carbon-ceramic brakes are also on the menu. In fact, there are two options here: 380×34 mm vented discs and six-piston calipers up front with standard rear brakes or the 380×34 mm discs with six-piston calipers for the front axle and 360×28 mm discs with four-piston calipers for the rear axle.
