The unique model was built to mark the launch of the AM37 yacht last year
Here's your chance to own one of the rarest Aston Martin vehicles built in recent years.
A one-of-one model, the Aston Martin Vanquish Volante AM37 Edition by Q is up for sale at H.R. Owen's Aston Martin Reading showroom in the UK for a significant sum of £236,950 (about $296,000).
As the "AM37" part of its name suggests, this one-off Vanquish Volante was commissioned by Aston Martin Lagonda to celebrate the launch of the AM37 powerboat partnership with Quintessence Yachts.
That explains the Concours Blue paintwork and the unique Q Semi Aniline leather interior in Chestnut Tan and White Essence. The exclusive features are obviously references to the opulence of the AM37 powerboat.
The interior offers many goodies from Q by Aston Martin, including one-off colors and quilting, Q Conker Saddle carpets with Q exclusive Conker Saddle overmats, Q Rosewood High Gloss Fascia, Q Fender and Buckle Badges with white enamel infill, as well as a full Q matching tailored luggage set.
To remind people of its unique status, the AM37 Edition also sports a special plaque inside that reads: "specially commissioned by Q to commemorate the AM37 yacht launch – 1 of 1."
No mechanical modifications were made, but they were hardly necessary. The one-off Vanquish Volante features the same powertrain as the regular model — a 5.9-liter V12 rated at 565 hp (573 PS) and 620 Nm (457 lb-ft) of torque.
Linked to a six-speed Touchtronic 2 automatic/sequential manual gearbox, the naturally aspirated power plant allows the AM37 Edition to cover the 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint in 4.1 seconds and top out at 295 km/h (183 mph). Rare, fast, convertible, and proudly wearing the coveted Aston Martin badge. What more could one ask for?
