It will literally make you say “what the FXXK did I get myself into?”
Ferrari sells the FXXK for people for whom the regular road-going LaFerrari is not extreme enough. Sure, it’s only confined to the track and closed roads, but what a bit of kit it is.
Its drivetrain is a more extreme evolution of what LaFerrari uses, pumping out 1,050 hp and 900 Nm torque which pushes a fairly light car that tips the scales at just under 1.5 tons. KERS is also fitted to the car and its power to weight is 1.42 kg per each horsepower made.
In this video, Alex from CarThrottle is completely blown away by just how fast the FXXK is. He doesn’t drive it but is given a shotgun ride up the Goodwood hillclimb, and it looks brutal, even from a passenger’s perspective.
The FXXK is definitely not a car that can be driven by anybody, although as one of the Ferrari engineers explains, with the systems turned up, it can be handled even by drivers with lesser experience. Disabling the aids on one of these sounds like a properly mental thing to do, but we’re sure there’s a driver out there capable of handling it.
