Porsche 911 Carries Mission E Quirks in Revolutionary Design Study

One designer does what Porsche won’t

Porsche's evolutionary and more recently streamlined veil worn by the iconic 911 sportscar meets Sasha Selipanov's creative flair.

He's one of the designers who gave us the Bugatti Chiron and at the same time not a particular fan of the Neunelfer, yet that hasn't stopped him from drawing his own vision of a modern Porsche 911, as motor1 found out.

Dressed up with Porsche Mission E styling cues here and there, Sasha's design study tries to bring back the frog-like posture of the 911.

"I tried to re-capture some of the frog-like character in the stance of the car and also in the architecture of the face. Sculpturally the idea was to go back to the original 911 bodyside, less turbo arches and more a continuous soft shoulder development."

As you've probably noticed, the concept's headlights point right at the Mission E, but if you look at the car from the right angle, you'll also spot some shared traits with the Nissan 370Z.
