Powerful as they are, both the Porsche Panamera Turbo and Mercedes-AMG E63 have serious weight issues to overcome. That's why they need huge power reserves and four-wheel drive to cope with this task.
Cheaper and a tad lighter, the E63 promises a more enthusiastic road presence but then again, it goes up against the new Panamera Turbo which is a Porsche.
On paper, they're both as scary as they come. The Merc-AMG E63 churns out 604 hp and 850 Nm from a 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8 while the Porsche Panamera Turbo relies on a 4.0-liter V8 yanking out 550 hp and 770 Nm.
