Gets its own special stand for the occasion
Volvo’s electric performance brand, Polestar, is showing its first ever offering at this year’s edition of the Geneva motor show.
Dubbed Polestar 1, the vehicle is “an electric performance hybrid GT” according to its makers which promises to deliver the longest pure-EV range of any hybrid vehicle currently on sale (150 km). It’s promised to be fast too, with 600 hp and 1,000 Nm torque, although actual performance figures have not yet been revealed.
Thomas Ingenlath, Chief Executive Officer at Polestar, said “we are looking forward to exhibiting at the Geneva Motor Show and are excited to hear feedback and see the reactions from the public on our first car and our new brand,” adding that “Our stand in Geneva will be a powerful incarnation of what our brand embodies: uncompromised, pure and progressive design.”
