Sources say that the future BMW 8 Series will be as spectacular as the concept

Closed-room reveal of the future 8 Series at the Geneva Motor Show confirms that it's a stunner, says BMWBlog.com.

According to a source that was present at that event, the front is almost exactly the same as what we have all seen on the concept. The back is almost the same, with some differences on the taillights. They will be a mix of the ones seen on the new X4 and the ones on the concept.

Because, of course, no phones or cameras were allowed inside, we only have one source for this, but it's as good as it gets for now. So, on the production-ready car, we will see a long bonnet with a 3D grille.

Inside, the future range-topping coupe will go full hi-tech, as there will be a big screen "for a BMW", as the source cited by BMWBlog says. All-in-all, the production-ready car is about 90% the same as the concept, which is, frankly, great news.
