Ram 1500 Rebel Black Special Edition to Launch at the Detroit Motor Show

It gets a dark styling treatment inside and out

The successful Ram 1500 Rebel pickup will get a Black special edition at the Detroit Motor Show.

Available in all Rebel colors, the Black package marks the first time the rugged truck has offered black elements such as the wheels, brush guard, and all-black Katzkin interior.

The cabin gets black anodized bezels on the doors, center console, instrument panel, and gauge cluster trim rings. All-black heated seats with black "Rebel" embroidery continue the dark theme, while the Light Slate Gray accent stitching on the instrument panel, center console lid, doors, and seats brings a touch of color to the interior. Optionally, customers can have black leather Katzkin seats.

As expected on an off-road truck, the Ram 1500 Rebel Black is fitted with deep rubber floor mats that retain snow and mud.

As with the regular Ram 1500 Rebel, the Black edition is available in crew cab body style with either the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 or the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, 33-inch off-road tires, and air suspension. Prices start from $45,590, excluding a $1,320 destination charge. The Ram 1500 Rebel Black will arrive in U.S. dealerships in March 2017.
