Only 500 were ever made, but none looked like this
Back in late 2014, Romanian coach builder Romturingia received an order for 500 Dacia Duster pickups for an oil company and now that they’ve been sold off, you can buy one and use it privately.
This particular example was acquired and modified to improve its off-road capability with several extras. Most striking is the blue paint job which uses a rough, thick bed liner paint to great effect – it looks both rugged and cheerful at the same time.
Custom Bilstein suspension as well as an H&R lift kit that raises the vehicle 5 cm add to its off-road capability, while its front and rear metal bumpers by Mudster not only grant it a more aggressive look but are also highly useful to protect the body along with the rollcage it already came fitted with.
Other modifications include the Mudster snorkel, LED roof bar, LED rear lights and new 16-inch rims treading on BF Goodrich all-terrain tires.
The 1.5-liter diesel engine remains untouched, making 110 hp which is sent to all four wheels and the transmission is the standard six-speed unit.
