Renault Kadjar Expands Engine Lineup, Mégane Gets Special Edition

Did someone say more power?

The Kadjar crossover gets the Energy 1.6-liter TCe 165 powerplant under its hood, packing 163 hp (165 PS), and 177 lb-ft (240 Nm) of torque. The TCe 165 is available on Intens, and the limited-edition Black Edition trims and is mated to a six-speed manual — which means it will also have all-wheel drive. If you want to know how cozy a diesel Kadjar is, read our impressions here.

The Mégane receives a limited edition, obviously called LIMITED while keeping its engine offers unaltered. The LIMITED is based on the Zen trim, but it differentiates (at the exterior) from the latter via a set of 17-inch Dark Anthracite Exception wheels, door mirror housings colored in Etoilé Black, electrically folding mirrors, and a LIMITED wing badge.

Tech-wise, the Mégane Limited gets the 7-inch R-Link infotainment system and the electronic assist parking brake. Nothing you haven't seen before, only this package is more money-worthy, according to Renault.

The novelties (for both Kadjar and Mégane) are limited to the French market, but the Kadjar's new engine offer will most likely transcend the Hexagon's borders.
