Mikhail Tataritskiy’s renderings will make your day

Cars nowadays have oversized wheels, and there's no sign the trend will subside soon. But how would current cars look with tiny wheels?

Mikhail Tataritskiy is a 28-year old Russian with a wicked sense of humor. While many digital artists render cars with huge arches and oversized wheels, he's going the other way, shrinking them down to tiny dots. The effect is way too funny.

From American large sedans to European sports cars, nothing escapes Mikhail's digital retouching. Check out this unbelievable Cadillac CT6!

Of course, there are some cars so ugly to actually benefit from smaller wheels. One could wonder if this Chrysler Pacifica wouldn't be nicer with shrunk wheels, eh?

Joking aside, one might wonder why current cars have bigger wheels than they used to have in the Seventies. While 15-inch wheels were common back then, now everybody expects at least 16-inch or even 17-inch on some sedans, while the SUV public goes straight for much bigger ones. When will this madness stop?
