If you’re among the 100 customers lucky enough to snatch one
McLaren Special Operations (MSO) is making it harder for Sports Series customers to choose their preferred model. It's already tough to pick one of the four Sports Series models (540C, 570S Coupé, 570S Spider, and 570GT), and then to think about how to personalize the car via MSO's numerous options.
Not to mention McLaren's bespoke division also releases special editions from time to time, as is this latest MSO Black Collection for the 570GT.
Restricted to 100 units worldwide this limited-run 570GT comes in an all-black, stealth design courtesy of extensive exterior modifications. Those include the MSO Bespoke Carbon Black paint, MSO Defined Black Pack, MSO Nano Black Exhaust Finisher, Gloss Black Diamond Cut wheels and Black Brake Calipers.
The MSO Defined Black Pack replaces the standard 570GT's Dark Palladium components (front and rear splitters, side skirts and air intakes) with black. Adding to the car's sinister looks are the 5 Twin-Spoke Lightweight Forged wheels shod with Pirelli P Zero Corsa Tyres.
The luxurious interior is enhanced with new MSO Black Collection Trim which combines Jet Black Leather with Carbon Black Alcantara accents on the center tunnel, lower instrument panel, headliner, steering wheel and speaker surrounds.
The sports seats are wrapped in Semi-Aniline Leather featuring unique MSO logo embroidery on the headrests, and the steering wheel is covered in Carbon Black Alcantara. Other upgrades include the MSO Defined Ignition Key in Carbon Black, and a bespoke Dedication Plate located under the center console.
The 570GT MSO Black Collection is rich in amenities as well, featuring things such as Panoramic Roof with UV-filtering black privacy tint glass, rearview camera, power-adjustable steering column, 12-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system, as well as electric and heated memory seats.
Finally, the performance side of the 570GT is enhanced thanks to the Sport Pack dynamic handling package with carbon ceramic discs and the MSO Defined Titanium SuperSports Exhaust which shaves 5 kg off the vehicle's weight.
So how much does it cost to have all of these goodies? Well, the McLaren 570GT MSO Black Collection costs £179,950 (approximately $251,000 at the current exchange rates). Deliveries are scheduled to begin this summer.
