Ben Collins is the former Stig, we all know that. What we didn't know was how a hot lap with him looks like. Now we know.
Being driven around a track in a supercar by a thoroughbred racing driver is something that we motoring journalists experience several times in our career. But being driven around on a hot lap by Ben Collins, a.k.a. the former Stig from Top Gear in an 820-hp Aston Martin Vulcan is something really, really rare.
Just look at this guy's big smile as he's turned into jelly by the face-bending Gs of the British supercar around the Thermals Race Circuit, Palm Springs, California, as part of the Michelin Pilot Sport 4s tire event.
