Would you choose it over a brand new car?

If you’re the type that enjoys modern technology wrapped in classic outfits, here’s a suggestion: a retro-looking ‘Vette.
This is a 1960 C1 Corvette painted Torque Blue, with only 11,708 miles on the odometer. As the pictures show, its body is in mint condition, and the mileage should also be an indicator of how rarely this car has been used.

Although it sits on the original C1 chassis, this ‘Vette features some interesting equipment. For example, the engine is a 2011 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine that sends some 430 hp and 425 lb-ft (576 Nm) to the rear axle via a six-speed automatic.
For a better (read: less dangerous) road behavior, this restomod uses the C4 Corvette suspension — for both the front and rear axles — and sits on 18×18.5 tires coming from a C6 Corvette. With those come disc brakes on all four corners.

Despite its 1960s looks, the cream-colored leather interior features air-con, USB & Bluetooth connectivity, and a RetroSound stereo. Power windows and power steering are also on the modern features list.

The car is listed on eBay with a $165,000 price tag, which is some thirty grand more than a fully-specced Corvette Z06.

Now, it's wonderful having a retro-looking Corvette, but just take a look at this modern bad boy. It's not perfect, but it has an intimidating presence nevertheless. Luckily, I don't have the money for any of them — otherwise, it would have been really hard to choose one.
