This is the Citroen C5 Aircross for China

It’s a new EMP2 platform-based crossover related to the Peugeot 3008

Citroen has one major ace up its sleeve and it’s set to play it at this year’s edition of the Shanghai auto show: the C5 Aircross, a larger SUV that uses the brand’s latest funky styling language. The automaker has shown stylized rendering teasers of the exterior, but now it’s also published a photo of the new SUV’s interior.

The other part of the PSA group confirmed at an earlier time that the C5 Aircross would debut at the Chinese motor show, but not as a concept – what they’re going to soon reveal at the venue is actually the production model.

Details on the model are so far sparse, and all we really know is that it’s going to ride on PSA’s EMP2 modular platform. It’s also the first Citroen to feature the brand’s new Progressive Hydraulic Cushions – sounds cool, but we don’t know what it’s about yet.
