Skoda is extending the Kodiaq SUV range in Britain with a flashier Laurin&Klement model that’s available to order as we speak.

As some of you know already, this special treatment is named after Skoda’s founders, Vaclav Laurin and Vaclav Klement.

For the UK-bound Kodiaq, the L&K trim can be had with four engine options: one petrol engine and three diesels with power outputs ranging between 150 PS and 190 PS (148 hp to 187 hp). Every Kodiaq L&K comes with all-wheel drive and the DSG transmission.

The 2.0 TDI 4×4 variant (150 PS/148 hp), however, can be configured with a six-speed manual gearbox as an option.

You’ll be able to tell apart the Kodiaq Laurin&Klement from its other peers thanks to the chrome grille, 19-inch Sirius alloy wheels and mildly tweaked front and rear bumpers as well as the presence of L&K logos on the front wings.

The cabin gets a standard panoramic roof, extra leather trim for the seats and piano black decorative bits and bobs. Also standard on L&K models are the ambient lighting system and aluminium pedals.

Skoda’s treatment also includes the Columbus infotainment system, progressive steering, curtain airbags, a CANTON sound system as well as a heated windscreen.

As for price, the Skoda Kodiaq L&K will require an extra fee of £2,500 over the Kodiaq Edition Model, therefore, the price list for the Kodiaq Laurin&Klement starts at £37,020 and goes as high as £38,105.

Order books are now open, but first deliveries won’t reach dealerships until later this year.
