Vaughn Gittin Jr’s 2010 Ford Mustang RTR-C is waiting for your money

You might call it the (professional) drifter’s daily driver

World Champion Drifter Vaughn Gittin Jr loves his 'Stangs. He loves them so much that when he's not drifting them, he builds them for himself and other go-sideways addicts – see Ken Block's 1965 Hoonicorn RTR.

The 2010 Ford Mustang RTR-C going under the hammer at Barrett-Jackson's Northeast 2017 auction is something else. But then again, one could say that related to all the over Mustangs ever to receive the Gittin treatment.

Long story short, this Mustang's carbon-fiber body cuts the overall weight by 500 lb and sits on 20-inch HRE also-carbon-fiber wheels worth $25,000.

It is said to pack over 550 horsepower coming from a 4.6-liter 3-valve overhead-cam V8 mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.

The goodies list includes the "Ford Racing 3.73 axle package and differential cover and Ford Racing Torsen limited-slip differential." What's more, the front brake setup features six-piston calipers while the rear one has four-piston calipers.

Inside, the carbon fiber treatment is even more obnoxious, just like the Sparco RTR-C seats. Interested?
