Venice Three-Wheeler Is Vanderhall’s Game Changer

It is a more accessible way to have fun

Vanderhall Laguna — the brand’s only product — is the most corpulent three-wheeled vehicle on the market. For example, unlike the rest of these nimble cars, it has a full-on roof and doors.

The Laguna also comes with up to four different leather combinations, cruise control, AC, heated seats, and a premium sound system. There’s also the price: at $50k, it’s a lot more expensive than its market rivals. That’s where Venice comes in.

At $29,950, the Venice Roadster uses Laguna’s as a base, but only the most important things. You don’t really need doors, do you? Or a roof. It’s a three-wheeled crumb of joy, so you only need a wheel to hang on to, and pedals through which you control the engine.

The Venice Roadster uses the same General Motors 1.4-liter turbocharged unit found in Laguna, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. It packs 200 horsepower delivered to the front wheels, enabling the 1,375 pounds (623 kg) Venice to reach 60 mph (96 km/h) from a standstill in under five seconds. Its top speed is rated at 130 mph (210 km/h).

Although it gets rid of some of the body parts, and comes at a more accessible price, the Venice still offers an array of amenities for its passengers – such as heated seats, Bluetooth connection, and a 600-watt BT sound system.
