It’s hard to be a new car nowadays. People aren’t just impressed in your capabilities as a car, people want more. People want to see you popping balloons using lasers, for example.

BMW put a lot of effort and go-faster goodies into the $60k M2 Competition, this including not only CFRP bits but even the S55 inline-six unit you usually find in the M4. It can go from 0 to 62 mph in 4.2 seconds, and from straight to sideways in an instant. Actually, the challenge is to keep it going in a straight line, we believe. 

Sorry? What else can it do? Well, it can laser-pop balloons faster than a human, if that’s what you want to hear. Here’s the proof:
