All hail the no-speed-limit Autobahn
It's a harsh world out there, on the German Autobahn. Luckily, the petrolheads at AutoTopNL always have what they need to succeed: speed
Forgive me my little poem above, but if you never drove on German highways, especially on those with no speed limits, you just can't understand what's like going like a madman at around 250 km/h (155 mph) in the overtaking lane and being pushed over by even faster cars that loom ever larger in your rearview mirror.
If you're cruising at 140 mph in the fast lane, for example, you can always expect somebody to come with 50 mph more. And the guy/girl in question will invariably have enough power to just leave you behind in a matter of seconds, looking down at your puny electronically-limited sports car struggling with its max speed.
Case in point: this beautiful Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe, a wonderful machine that's able to hit 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 3.5 seconds, for an official top speed of 300 km/h (for the AMG Driver package). Well, as the AutoTopNL tester managed to show in the first part of this video, Mercedes-AMG are shy with the ultimate performance of their car. Look for yourself:
