What if Tesla raced its very own prototype at Le Mans?

Let’s take a trip down Creativity Lane

As far as electricity-governed motorsports branches are concerned, Formula E is the competition setting the tone at the moment. But the year 2030, for a change, might bring something else.

According to designer Omar Alfarra Zendah, Tesla would hypothetically race at Le Mans with the T1 prototype. And while it might only exist in the shape of digital renderings, the research behind it is impressive to say at least.

In other words, he didn't utterly draw it but based the concept on actual science and modern materials.

By far the most intriguing feature of the Tesla T1 is the Dynamic Axis System. In short, it allows the prototype to turn from the center of both axes, thus shortening its wheelbase. Result: added agility and sharpness around corners.

Rated at 1,000 kW (1,340 hp), tipping the scales at just 900 kg and capable of generating 1,770 lb-ft (2,400 Nm) of twist, the Gorlov turbine-fed Tesla T1 would make use of magnesium, tungsten and graphene components.

Yet for some reason, we can't take our eyes off its mindblowing design cues.
