Fiat Prices New 124 Spider and Abarth in the US

Starts from $25,990 including destination charges

The Mazda MX-5-dreived Fiat 124 has just gained its official US pricing information, where it starts from $24,995 plus $995 in destination charges.

With the basic package, dubbed Spider Classica, you get a 1.4-liter Multiair turbo with 160 hp hooked up to a six-cog manual. One option you may want to consider is the automatic gearbox; that adds $1,350 to the total.

The Spider Classica comes with 16-inch alloys and fabric seats, but you can move up to Spider Lusso ($27,495 plus destiantion) which enlargers the rims to 17 inches and gives you pleather seats; Lusso also changes all of the interior trim pieces to gloss black.

At the top of the current Spider range lies the Abarth. It gets a slight power hike, from 160 to 165 hp, as well as performance-enhancing goodies like stiffer suspension complete with front strut tower brace and a mechanical LSD.

Visual changes compared to the other two trims include unique 17-inch alloys, quad exuausts and Abarth badges. Optionally available for this range topper are beefier Brembo brakes and Recaro seats. This variant kicks off at $28,195 plus destination.
