2,000+ HP Nissan GT-R Pulverizes the Quarter Mile in 6.93 Seconds

That’s record material right there

A Nissan GT-R just bagged the crown for the world's first six-second GT-R and the first six-second all-wheel drive car in the world.

With Gideon 'Gidi' Chamdi – one of AMS Performance’s long time customers – behind the wheel, the Nissan GT-R also known on the drag racing scene as Alpha G owned the quarter mile's buttocks clocking in at 6.93 seconds and 196.27 mph.

Those of you with a thingy for drag racing know the Alpha G is no ordinary GT-R. It packs north of 2,000 hp and pushes well over 70 psi of boost pressure.

Just watch Gidi's reaction as he finds out the time. The man almost bursts into tears of joy as he secures a well-earned victory. Hats off to him and the AMS crew.
