We reckon the long Panamera adds style as well as interior space
The Porsche Panamera family will receive a new body option and a new engine at the Los Angeles Auto Show (November 18-27). The extended Executive version adds 150 mm (5.7 inches) to the wheelbase, turning the Panamera into a chauffeur saloon.
The new Panamera Executive is available exclusively with all-wheel drive with four engine options: the newly-introduced 326 hp (330 PS) V6 in the Panamera 4 Executive, the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Executive, Panamera 4S Executive, and Panamera Turbo Executive.
All Porsche Panamera Executive models feature more standard equipment than regular models, adding a large panoramic roof, heated comfort seats with multi-way electrical adjustment (both front and rear), roll-up sunblind behind the rear headrests, and adaptive air suspension with the electronically controlled damper system Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM).
Panamera 4S Executive and Panamera Turbo Executive models get even more standard features such as rear-axle steering and soft-close doors. Exclusive to the Panamera Turbo Executive are standard features including four-zone climate control, LED main headlights including Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) and ambient lighting.
The list of optional extras is generous for Executive models, including a large rear center console, a Sport design package, as well as the latest generation of Porsche Rear Seat Entertainment featuring 10.1-inch displays in the backrests of the front seats.
As for the new V6 turbo engine, it delivers 20 hp more than the previous entry-level unit with fuel consumption reduced by 1.0 l/100 km. Besides powering the Panamera 4 Executive, the new engine is combined with rear-wheel drive in the Panamera and all-wheel-drive in the Panamera 4.
