2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet Teased Before Geneva 2017 Debut

The E-Class range is now complete

Coming to round up the E-Class lineup on Swiss soil, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet joins Stuttgart's jammed stand at this year's Geneva Motor Show.

Although the teaser picture doesn't reveal much, Mercedes says the drop-top will feature four seats, similar to the coupé.

Moreover, it's only logical to assume that in the US of A, the E-Class Cabrio will carry the E-Class Coupé's engine. We're talking about the 3.0-liter V6 powerplant making 329 hp and 354 lb-ft of torque, but AMG goodies could also make an appearance at launch or shortly after.

Europe, however, might get more variety in the engine department. If Mercedes-Benz decides to copy/paste the powerplant options from the coupé, then the open-top E could host a 2.0-liter turbo unit with either 181 or 241 hp on tap.

Furthermore, a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 carrying 328 PS could also be on the table.

Elsewhere, Merc's stand will feature the revised GLA together and the Maybach-crafted G 650 Landaulet.

We'll be covering live the Geneva Motor Show, so stay tuned on March 7 and 8 for the latest info and pictures.
