2018 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Cabriolet Facelift Takes a Stroll to the Arctic Circle

Another case of spot the changes

Fresh spyshots show the drop top S-Class enjoying winter testing around the Arctic Circle, although the setting is the last place you'll want to take your convertible.

Of course, a routine of tests must be carried out in extreme conditions before a model is given the go – be it even a facelifted version, so Mercedes-Benz doesn't cut any slack for its flagship.

Just like the regular S-Class, the open top will feature revised taillights, headlights, and bumpers front and rear, while the cockpit will see the two digital displays merged into one larger screen.

Other than that, there's no word on further visual tweaks. The same goes for the engine and equipment side, with Mercedes-Benz being tight lipped about new additions to the powerplant lineup, if there will be any at all in the first place.

However, Mercedes could imbue the S-Class' connectivity and infotainment system, but that's to be confirmed or denied when the model hits the internet's shelves.

Since the standard S-Class is a sure shot for this year's Geneva Motor Show, we expect the cabrio to arrive at the same time or later this summer.
