Bugatti Chiron Proves How Easy Is To Handle: No Hands Needed

Christian von Koenigsegg is probably still not impressed

Would you go full throttle in a 1,500 hp hypercar no hands on the wheel? Because you can totally do that.

It’s been a while since we’ve seen the Chiron in all its might. We already know that, despite its $2.7m price tag, an impressive number of deposits already have been placed.

But the official performance figures haven’t been shown yet, so we still don’t know how good it actually is. We’ve heard an attempt for another speed world record is scheduled for 2018, so until then we’ll have to tame our curiosity with snippets like this one.

As it seems, the mighty Chiron is not only stupidly powerful and incredibly fast, but also easy to control, thanks to its many pieces of tech. This driver shows an amazing amount of trust in technology too, unleashing the W16 while barely keeping its hands on the steering wheel. It happens the same when braking hard.

The thing is, Koenigsegg Agera R was doing that long time ago – proving how settled it remains under stress. So you’d better do that particular thing of yours, Chiron, distorting space (and possibly time) at stupendously fast speeds.
