Gemballa Let 809 HP Slide Inside the Porsche 911 Turbo, Calls It Avalanche

And it’s coming to Geneva 2017

Those brave and cultured enough to modify a Porsche 911 can be counted on a hand's fingers.

The most notable names are Singer Vehicle Design and Rauh-Welt Begriff (RWB), both at the opposite ends of the Porsche 911 modding scene. And then there's Gemballa.

Enter the Avalanche, once a regular Porsche 911 Turbo packing 540 hp, recently turned into an 809-horspower force of…well not nature, but mechanics.

Maximum torque sniffs around the 948 Nm (700 lb-ft) mark and should be enough to sport a better 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) acceleration time than the regular 911 Turbo, which is already capable of securing that interval in 3.0 seconds.

But what irreversibly strikes your brain at first sight are the cannon-size quad exhausts and the nightmare-inducing rear wing – which is probably the only part you'll get to see if the Avalanche passes by on the Autobahn.

Now, the good news. Gemballa will bring the Avalanche 911 to Geneva, which makes a walk to their stand compulsory.
