Mercedes-AMG Treats Itself with Three New Edition Models

The want is strong with these AMG specials

Mercedes-AMG's 50th anniversary is a good occasion for the performance sub-brand to release three new Edition models.

Debuting at the Geneva Motor Show, these include the AMG GT C Roadster Edition 50, the C 63 Cabriolet and C 63 S Cabriolet Ocean Blue Edition, and the C 43 4MATIC Cabriolet Night Edition.

Mercedes-AMG GT C Roadster Edition 50

As with the AMG GT C Edition 50, the Roadster version combines specific design features with extended equipment and will be built in a limited run of 500 examples worldwide. You can recognize the Edition 50 thanks to the two unique paint finishes (Designo Graphite Grey Magno or Designo Cashmere White Magno), and the black chrome accents applied all over the bodywork.

Other distinctive elements include the cross-spoke AMG forged wheels, the black and silver Nappa leather, AMG Performance steering wheel, and the AMG Interior Night package, among other things.

Mercedes-AMG C 63 Cabriolet and C 63 S Cabriolet Ocean Blue Edition

The second limited-run model is the Mercedes-AMG C 63 Cabriolet Ocean Blue Edition, which is restricted to 150 units globally. Offered both for the C 63 Cabriolet and C 63 S Cabriolet, the Ocean Blue Edition puts an emphasis on design.

It offers an exclusive Deep Ocean Blue color for the soft top and two hues for the body: Graphite Grey Magno and Designo Cashmere White Magno. Contrasting accents in Deep Blue Ocean can be found on the bumpers, hubcaps, topstitching, and the analog clock.

Ocean Blue Edition models ride on AMG forged wheels painted in titanium gray (19-inch at the front/20-inch at the rear), and feature a crystal gray interior in Nappa leather.

Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC Coupé and Cabriolet Night Edition

Finally, the Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC Coupé and Cabriolet Night Edition models bring an array of black exterior details, including the dots on the diamond radiator grille, trim strips on the front splitter, rear apron, and side skirts, as well as the spoiler lip on the boot lid and the tailpipe trim elements.

The 19-inch multi-spoke light-alloy wheels are painted in matt black, while the rim of the Performance steering wheel is black as well. A badge on the center console completes the changes.
