This Brabus Rocket 900 makes the regular Mercedes-Maybach look obsolete

It can also make it eat some dust

We all love Brabus for their audacity and the fact that whenever they get their hands on a car, cumbersome performance jumps ensue.

It's the same with the Brabus Rocket 900. Based on the Mercedes-Maybach S600, it hides a juiced-up V12, although the exterior does little to lobby for that. The half a million euro price tag (roughly $536,000), however, is a good hint at what hides inside.

Sure, it's a Merc-Maybach and it has to be sober as a judge, but Brabus still found the inspiration to fit the Rocket 900 with a new grile, spoilers and diffuser.

Coming back to the engine, if you're familiar with the baptizing process at Brabus, then you know the 900 stands for 900 PS or 888 hp. Add the hip-breaking 1,500 Nm (1,106 lb-ft) of max torque and the luxo-fast barge package is complete.

Speaking of fast, the Brabus Rocket 900 can hit 350 km/h (217 mph). It also falls on the quick side, with an advertised 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint cleared in just 3.7 seconds.
