A little conditioning never hurt anybody
It's not that the Tundra or Sequoia needed a beach body, but Toyota still saw fit to grant its heavyweights a rougher appearance.
First up, the Tundra TRD Sport. Animated by the same 5.7-liter iForce V8 churning out 381 hp, the TRD Sport version of the Tundra sits on tuned Bilstein shocks and front plus rear anti-sway bars.
Marking the gains on the outside are the 20-inch silver alloys and color-keyed mirrors, bumpers and roof scoop.
As far as the Sequoia TRD Sport is concerned, powerplant credentials stay the same while the exterior styling cues include metallic black mirror caps, 20-inch black alloys and black satin finish for the TRD badges.
Elsewhere, Toyota also took care of the RAV4 which gains a new grade called Adventure. Changes include beefier fenders and 18-inch alloy rims, plus all-weather mats on the inside, among other amenities.
All three models are expected to reach showrooms later this year, in September.
