Will the Giulia Wagon Be the Most Beautiful Choice?

Giulia is prettier than others. And wagons are more appealing than sedans. It’s math

In the European premium midsize segment, the wagons account for 42% of sales, so a Giulia wagon is expected to boost sales while looking good.

Rumors are Alfa Romeo is working on a wagon-shaped Giulia, scheduled to make its debut late 2017.

This is nothing but good news, as the beautiful Giulia most surely will look even more appealing in wagon guise. Can we hope for a Quadrifoglio wagon? Too soon? OK. (by the way, here's our test drive experience with the Giulia QV saloon)

Now, thanks to our collaborator Christian Schulte and his accurate renderings, we can even take a peek at it. Isn’t it stunningly beautiful? Yes, yes it is.

Meanwhile, as the sales figures show, the Giulia came near the German Triad Mercedes-BMW-Audi which is for now dominating the European premium midsize segment. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles boss Sergio Marchionne hopes that, following the US debut planned for this year’s end, the Giulia sedan will boost its annual sales to up to 100,000 units.

Oh, by the way, US readers, if you like the idea of a Giulia wagon, we have some bad news for you: it will not reach the American shores. Sorry.
