Bugatti Chiron — Deposits Already Placed for 180 Units

You’d think that a $2.7m megacar is sold after long drive tests and negotiations. When that car is a Bugatti, well, you’d be awfully wrong.

The new Chiron just placed its immensely wide rubbers on Earth and people are already going crazy over it. And we’re talking rich people over here, considering its €2.4m price tag.

Bugatti boss, Wolfgang Dürheimer, stated that “interest has been exceptional” and “one-third of the allocation has a deposit on before we have even told them the remarkable performance figures or even let them behind the wheel.”

Yes, folks, about 180 cars already have a place reserved in heated, sumptuous garages, next to other automobile world exquisite machines — such as the Bugatti Veyron.

As expected, the first to receive news (and offers) about the new Chiron were Veyron owners, because their loyalty proves that they won’t sell it immediately at a higher price.

“The biggest order so far is for six cars, but we expect some busy days after the reveal,” says Mr. Dürheimer.
