2018 Dodge Durango R/T gets the same look as top dog SRT version

The 2018 model year also brings new standard features for the big SUV

Dodge has released information about the 2018 Durango, which gets a series of styling and content updates for the new model year.

Chief among them is the fact that Durango R/T models now use the same front fascia, performance-oriented hood, lower valence, and LED fog lamps as the 2018 Durango SRT high-performance model. As a reminder, the Durango R/T is the next best thing to the Durango SRT when it comes to performance, featuring a 360 horsepower 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine.

All Durango R/T models also get the ParkSense Park Assist System included in the standard Front Park Assist pack, as well as the BeatsAudio nine-speaker audio system that includes a subwoofer and a 506-watt amplifier.

The Durango GT is another model that gets a piece of the SRT action, gaining the functional performance hood as an option when equipped with Blacktop or Brass Monkey Appearance Package. 2018 Durango GT models also get a standard power liftgate and Capri and sued bucket leather seats. Capri leather seats and the Technology Group are available as standalone options.

Finally, all 2018 Dodge Durangos feature a backup camera, a new sport steering wheel, and driver-oriented electronic T-shifter offers an Auto Stick selector gate for added control and provides the driver with intuitive gear selection. Customers can also choose the available hand wrapped instrument panel with accent stitching.

The 2018 Dodge Durango will arrive in dealerships in the third quarter of 2017, with pricing to be announced shortly before the start of deliveries.
