2018 Durango GT dresses in Rallye clothes, reason unknown

2018 durango gt rallye package

But Dodge thinks people would dig it

Coming as the Rallye Appearance Package, the suite wants to boost the Durango GT’s styling without altering the SUV’s performance setup.
Those in the market for a 2018 Durango GT can have it with the Rally Appearance Package, a series of add-ons that although marketed in conjunction with the “performance” term, do nothing but the spice up the Durango from a visual standpoint.
It includes a new hood that features a cold air duct and two heat extractors, tweaked front fascia and LED fog lamps.
What else you get? Leather-and-suede bucket seats for starters, mixed with a power liftgate and 20-inch Hyper Black wheels. Additionally, the Durango GT Rally can be had with the Blacktop pack and Brass Monkey rims.
Under the hood it retains the bone-stock 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine making 295 hp and 260 lb-ft of twist married to the TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic gearbox. In this config, the Durango can tow up to 6,200 lb worth of cargo.
Dodge says the Rally Appearance Package costs $1,495 and order books are already open, with customers offered the choice between seven body colors: Vice White, White Knuckle, Octane Red, Redline Red, DB Black, Granite and In-Violet.
